Run that tool
Add the desired site for the add block
All of facebook's bullshit adds are blocked

Just added a Macbook and have figured out how to block Facebook ads in Safari via a custom CSS file.
For this just follow the steps all instructed in the firefox browser
Refresh Facebook and your ads will be gone.
